  1. Is it a rule anymore or what? Because that’s a f*****g blatant dive?!
  2. The keeper will think he’s done OK there, the second part of your comment is the issue. He’s pushed that far enough out to (rightly) expect a defender to at least compete for the loose ball. Not us! 🤷🏼‍♂️
  3. Fabulous player.
  4. Yeah, we’ve got to capitalize. That’s an absolute stonewall if he stays onside as well.
  5. That was superb football to play out of that. Heart was in the mouth every pass, right enough, but still.. Positives!
  6. Long afternoon incoming.. 🥺
  7. I always wanted more out of him, even at Championship level. Especially when he swans about like he’s the best thing since sliced bread. Produce something to back that up, then..? Champ player for me. Which might help us come next August! 😫
  8. Honestly I’d prefer a replacement for him and Ayew occupy the other wing than to watch his attitude every week. Someone posted earlier “it’s all about him with Mav” and it’s absolutely correct. And in all honesty, he’s crap.
  9. 100% agree, very harsh to dig VK out there, he’s done pretty solidly against Salah for 80 mins. Especially with the form he’s been in all season.
  10. He’s kept Salah quiet for 80+ mins mate, it’s an absolutely unbelievable finish to score from there.
  11. Great tackle Oliver Skipp.
  12. Just said the same, give the lad 15 mins and let him run his socks off.
  13. Bills off again..?! 😫
  14. There is absolutely no chance Danny Ward saves that, by the way.. 😂
  15. Not before Sunday!! 😂
  16. Comes from trying to play between Jakub, Coady and Vestegaard. Why bother? Own worst enemies.
  17. He was good again first half, looks like what we thought we were getting when he signed.
  18. 44 minutes went by and STILL James Justin hadn’t switched on to the fact that Gakpo wants it on his right foot and will look at going inside at every opportunity. He just lets him and every single bit of fight and good work we’d put in for the entire first half is up in smoke. If I’m Ruud or a teammate at half time, I’m absolutely furious with that.
  19. If we don’t get a right back in Jan we might as well f*****g give up. Shambolic again. How many times does he want to just give him the freedom of Merseyside to just cut inside?! Braindead.
  20. Ruud has to have spoken to Mavididi, first time in weeks he hasn’t stood on the ball and slowed us down to an almost standstill. Loads better. Come on City 🦊
  21. 100% agree mate. At least go with the 2 who are best physically, which I believe to be Faes and Okoli. Both Coady and Vestegaard both seemed absolutely unwilling to do the basics of defending against Wolves and cost us the first goal. That is unacceptable and yet here they are, both starting again.
  22. Questions, again, already: Bounanotte on the bench, Ayew starts..? Faes not even in the squad. Coady and Vestegaard at centre half again. You’d have assumed at least one of Faes/Okoli starts after the Wolves debacle, surely?
  23. Honestly, the signings we did make take the limelight when it comes to how poor our recruitment has been but this is THE standout example of just how slapdash and scattergun our approach has been for multiple windows now. We shirked at the 12 million that allowed us to cover both flanks and an option through the middle on a single British player with a clear high ceiling. One of the decisions which moved us nicely head long into the situation we find ourselves in with J.Ayew starting Premier League games for us out wide. Sheer incompetence and arrogance - "we'll be alright if we do the bare minimum" attitude on display far too often from the heirarchy.
  24. What’s the alternative mate..? We ain’t got Baresi, Beckenbauer and Maldini waiting in the wings unless you know something I don’t? Faes gets absolute pelters on here but he is a million, billion miles ahead of Coady. Justin is just a bomb scare that might be best served retiring and Vestegaard is Vestegaard.. 🤷🏼‍♂️
  25. This is one of the most baffling things to me, getting rid of Cooper but keeping the coaching staff he was working with? That surely does nothing but hinder the new manager rather than help, which is clearly what he, and we, need. You can only assume it’s financial in terms of why he hasn’t gone and got his own people. We need some experience behind him is my instant thought, not Ben Dawson who exhibited his absolute tactical ineptitude against Brentford. Seeing him in RVNs ear for large parts doesn’t transmit confidence and positivity that we’re going in any different direction than through the ever looming trap door.
