We could do a lot, lot worse… 😔

That’s Gareth Ainsworth’s lovechild. Is he wearing snakeskin boots at the bottom of this photo n’all?

STINKS of us to sign 2 RB’s and f**k all else in a transfer window, doesn’t it..? 😵💫🤦🏼♂️
-
I’d rather sign no one than Oxlade Chamberlain. The absolute embodiment of the recruitment policies that got us in the position we’re in.
-
Yeah, we’ve had our pants pulled down again ain’t we.. Lumbered with him again come August, bet last penny on it. Cheers, Jon.
-
Is that you Jon Rudkin..?
-
At least one of our players might have a snowball in hells chance of being a prem player next season then!

Geezer was born in Serbia pal, I doubt the middle of Leicester and what it has to offer even blips on his radar when it comes to shitholes 😂

This should absolutely put paid to the argument that it is impossible to sign players that improve what we have due to our league position. The lack of forward planning and future proofing is quite honestly astounding. This season, in a window and a half we have managed to quash the PSR and possible points deduction argument/excuses for signing dross/being inactive in the market when they both didn’t happen. At what point do we realise that the people in charge of recruitment at this football club are absolutely incompetent and negligent. Put the blame where it lies. Rudkin, Glover and at the very end of the day, Top. Their decisions and stewardship has seen us lumbered with Vestegaard, Coady, Ward et al on stupid money, with no sign of changing course. We head into next season (likely in the championship) with Jordan Ayew and Bobby Reid while Southampton forward think with the likes of Gronbaek. They’ll recoup big money for Dibling and likely spend again, too. We are an utter laughing stock, they’re asleep at the wheel and have been for some time. I want serious people in positions of power at this football club not the charlatans we currently endure.

Can we ask Trump to buy us instead of Greenland..? 😂
-
100%, seen more of Bilal out there than Stephy. So frustrating.
-
Warnings are there again now, we need to get a grip of the ball for 5 minutes before half time.

Better VK 👏🏼

Superb from BEK in the build up 👏🏼

Enzo displaying some of the same frustrating traits at Chelsea that a lot of people on here moaned about when he was here. Controlling games but not killing them off, no plan B, turgid and boring at times etc etc.. Only this time he’s got elite players, almost 2 to every position bar a goalkeeper and Cole Palmer. Arguably you could make the parallel between what he did with us in the champ and what he’s managed there thus far. I 100% agree however that Enzo would have had targets that suited his system and he would have been prepared to walk should the club and the recruitment department not deliver on those targets. There is NO CHANCE that Enzo allows us to bring in Ayew, Skipp, BDCR and Okoli. None whatsoever. -

That’d require a half competent hierarchy or recruitment department pal. They're all probably sat around thinking “how the f**k are we still not cut adrift yet? We might actually have to sign someone here” -

Ask him what cocktail of drugs he was high on when he signed off on the recruitment of Okoli, BDCR, Ayew and Skipp? Ask him if the fact he has foreskins for eyelids meant he wasn’t able to identify that Danny Ward was as much use as Anne Frank’s drum kit? What about the fact he apparently forgot Ricardo existed for the first 7 weeks of the season? There’s plenty more I’d like to ask Steve, but I think after those few he’d probably rather I left him to get on with his day, tbh. -
Things HAVE to get really toxic for those in stewardship of this football club now. It’s the only way. They’ve been asleep at the wheel for too f*****g long. Ruud must be absolutely livid. Spun a yarn no doubt about the position of FFP and what we plan to do in Jan, only to be in the midst of a 5 game losing streak by the time we get there because of how desperately bad things already are.
-
I could not agree more, pal.

Honestly when it’s good, it’s very good. How you can watch this and say there hasn’t been an improvement from Cooper, I have no idea. We just need that extra bit of composure when it comes to an end product and to keep the concentration levels at the back. Come on City 🦊

He has to release the ball earlier. So much good work in relieving the pressure but he is absolutely killing us in transition. Holding on for too many touches and turning the ball over far too often in dangerous areas. Concerning.
-
Vardy has been absolutely horrid in the final 3rd tonight.. 😫
-
Superb from Stephy, he looks a different player so far here! Come on City 🦊

What a tackle VK 💥
