I could not agree more, pal.

Honestly when it’s good, it’s very good. How you can watch this and say there hasn’t been an improvement from Cooper, I have no idea. We just need that extra bit of composure when it comes to an end product and to keep the concentration levels at the back. Come on City 🦊

He has to release the ball earlier. So much good work in relieving the pressure but he is absolutely killing us in transition. Holding on for too many touches and turning the ball over far too often in dangerous areas. Concerning.

Vardy has been absolutely horrid in the final 3rd tonight.. 😫

Superb from Stephy, he looks a different player so far here! Come on City 🦊

What a tackle VK 💥

The longer the “injury” saga goes on I have to agree, unfortunately.

Need to unearth another gem like we did with Mads really don’t we, and how realistic is that? £5-10m bracket, either #1 while Mads is out, sits behind him until he inevitably leaves and then becomes the first choice. What we absolutely shouldn’t do (so probably will) is look at someone with “experience” a la a Danny Ward profile of signing. If we are even thinking about going down that route we deserve everything we get which will inevitably be another relegation and years of strife in the desolate hellhole of the football league.

F**king Tyrone Mings 😫🤢 .. I’d rather Tyrone off Coronation Street.

This alone should be case closed for anyone involved with our recruitment process. That tactic hasn’t worked, the results of that are plain for all to see. In fact, they should have Steve Cooper’s recruitment list plastered all over the training ground and the KP like the old Wild West “WANTED” posters, and every player on there should be banned from entering for life!

There’s blokes in the club shop with better technical skills than our Wilf to be fair.. Can’t half tackle though the lad.

Ten million what? Bags full of dogshit? 🤢

100% agree mate, watch a lot of the SPL and he’s been thrown to the wolves after a long lay off and not being the most physical of lads from the get go. Big, big ask to go in at a side like Dundee and play the we he (and we) wants to.
-
For a little bit of context here - Sammy Braybrooke (who I thought looked a very good footballer, certainly technically) is currently struggling to get even minutes for Dundee. The men’s game is a completely different beast to youth football, even at the highest level such as internationals which both him and Alves have played. Both are also coming off the back of arguably the most significant injury a footballer can sustain at a very young age. They’re clearly both very talented and they may well come through here and be the players we seem to expect them to be. They may also not do. The added pressure and expectation around them (IMO) will only hinder. As we saw with KDH and Harvey Barnes, they weren’t setting the first team alight at 17. The club played the long game with them and in both scenarios it paid dividends. We’re struggling and there’s a clamour for Alves, I get it, but putting him in if he’s not ready might not be the best for him or the club. More than happy with minutes here and there and even the right loan move this January.

This is where I take real umbridge with the whole farcical s**t show that is PSR. Not only is it utter bollocks aimed solely at clipping the wings of anyone bar the big boys. Even if there’s no breach or you manage to get around the rules that are seemingly written by Jonny age 5 in Crayola, the powers that be will ensure they spin up a full propaganda operation so that no player besides the ilk of Conor Coady and the like will touch you with a shitty stick. It’s like going on a date with a bird and all your mates turn up to let her know you’re still banging your ex. In the end you leave with nowt, or in our case Conor Coady. Add to that, we’re the club that dared to try and destabilise the “Big 6” and try and muscle in at the feeding trough, they’re never letting us out of their crosshairs.

If Faes didn’t have the concentration span of my 3 year old, he’s a very good footballer. -

I think that would be my absolute priority now mate, a centre half to replace Coady. I actually think that effective cover in that inside channel when JJ is playing higher and doing what he’s been asked to could help us massively. And if Faes doesn’t have to leave in order for someone else to come in, for me he has to play infront of Coady on the right hand side of the 2. Although I will say, while he has the physical attributes Coady clearly lacks, you might argued he’s possibly not got the discipline to be the answer and we need a replacement anyway and we’re knackered either way! 😂 -

Got lucky there, Mavididi about 6 steps behind Bilal when he plays the pass. Stood picking his nose. -

Him and Coady are both complete bomb scares. That was an absolute defending disaster-class from both. Clowns. -
Everton linked to Nuamah at Lyon for £15m. We should be seriously sniffing around this at that money, similar to Fatawu in age and profile at a cut price due to Lyon’s financial strife.
