The most successful period in our history has coincided with his signing and he is probably the major reason for that. Our decline has coincided with his. We'll never see another like him.

Still not been as bad as consistently as JJ has been for us this season
He's not played as often.

After the red card Ipswich were down to 11 men !
There were more follow through’s than curry night at Wetherspoons, he missed the lot apart from Phillips 2nd card. Absolute homer, gave them everything.
A little exaggerated, but basically correct.

It's not quite as much of a mystery anymore, is it?

There's no way we finish below Ipswich this season.

Anyone blaming riccardo for their goal. Justin plays and we win that game. At least fans favourite Jordon Ayew saved us a point.

I can only assume you have zero idea what words like squad management or match fitness mean or how either of them work or why they are important
Well I've read on here tonight that bringing on Soumare and Ayew was a disaster but now I find out it was squad management. When we were 2 nil down last week we should have brought on a right back to boost his fitness?
Come on, this is all bollox, it's just a childish rant because Ricardo had a crap game.

we should use our bench each game and ensure that the players we view as back ups are sufficiently match fit from 20-30 minutes in some games to then start when needed. this is obvious and playing the fool doesn't suit you
We're only allowed 5 subs, how do you keep a 25 man squad fit?

You've not got a proper argument, have you?

Because we conceded two soft goals against Southampton and because the team we beat was Southampton.
You've still not told me the point of locking the thread. Nobody is making you read it.

training and match fit are two very different things, don't be disingenuous
So we should play players who aren't first choice so that they're fit when the first choice aren't available? Won't that mean that the first choice player wouldn't be fit?

What’s the point of unlocking it? There’s surely no positive comments about Cooper’s management of the game tonight. His name was being chanted with glee by the Notts Forest fans at the end and that should tell you how bad he was.
What's the point of locking it? Why wasn't this thread locked when we beat Southampton?

We'd have 4 managers and 7 different directors of football every season.

A fan-owned consortium, or wouldn't that work in tne PL?
We just need 400 million fans to chip in a pound each.

The irony of the anti cooper out brigade being so delighted that we've lost, so they can tell the cooper out brigade that he did what we wanted and we were awful, is completely lost on me. 'cos I'm pissed.
I'm never delighted when we lose, unlike some people on here who have openly said they want us to lose so Cooper will get the sack.
I knew the simplistic solutions the Cooper out bunch were calling for were pie in the sky and I knew that when they failed they blame Cooper. I'm just trying to teach some humility here. I'm wasting my time I know.

So why can’t he see that Justin isn’t performing well in games?
Maybe Ricardo's worse
Why is that funny?

It’s a poor argument this. We know what Ricardo can do. We’ve seen nothing from Soumare.
We know what he could do.
The manager sees the players in training.its very unlikely that he's less intelligent that our pundits on here. He's probably not keeping him out for spite. Simplest explanation is, he's not performing as well in training.

He started with our best 11, we played decent in the first half, some great football. Nuno figured us out and changed their system, Cooper didn't recognise this, didn't do anything about it and then brought on Soumaré. So yeah Cooper out!
I knew this would all be blamed on bringing on Soumare, despite the fact that we were already 3-1 down at the time.

Ricardo should be playing, but he didn't have a great game because he's not match fit because Cooper hasn't even used him off the bench before today. He should be playing, and the poor performance is down to Cooper being utterly useless at squad management and so not keeping players fit.
clear enough or do you want me to draw a picture?
Doesn't he train either? Soumare hasn't played much either, are you making excuses for him?

It's not that people expect to win every week, it's we expect to be in with a chance, for our players to know the system, for our manager to play our best 11 and motivate the players. All of which he has failed to do.
He played our best 11 tonight according to some, so why aren't you happ

Just interested Webbo as you are normally quite a balanced and decent poster
do you think we should persevere with Cooper?
what do you think his qualities are?
could we do better with another manager?
Whoever got the job there are people with such a downer on the club that they would be desperate to see fail. We're not in the bottom 3 ,relegation looks far from certain, why would you sack him

I'm prepared to give him chance. I always knew this season was going to be a struggle.
It's only the people who predicted we'd be relegated by November that seem shocked when we don't win every week

my point is you've got a squad to use, and you do so by not leaving your subs until the 85th minute so players don't have match fitness. if you don't understand that, probably time to stop drinking and turn in for the night
We've gone from ricardo should start to why does Cooper bring on subs in the 85th minute? Do you see were I'm struggling to see the point you're making?

I like Ricky, nothing personal against him. But if that ball had have gone over Justin's head there'd have been 50 posts already calling him a c##t. Just a little bit of balance, nothing to ban anyone for.
