  1. Have you adjusted the allowable losses for Covid? Also there are losses that can be offset (academy costs, development etc) Not as straightforward as just looking at the P&L. They’ve probably gone for us first cos we’ve breached it by a country mile
  2. Both the EFL and the PL are rightly fuming that Leicester have retained many of the PL players for a promotion push and are now trying to avoid any sanctions this season by claiming they fall between the cracks. Technically Leicester may be right - but unlike Forest, who have cooperated with everything, all that the club is doing here is storing up an absolute kicking from both bodies next season when we won’t have anywhere to hide from a legal perspective
  3. The EFL wouldn’t be charging us without very good reason to do so. Don’t forget we’ve not seen the accounts yet - doesn’t mean the PL and EFL haven’t. The EFL aren’t stupid enough to levy an embargo without a reason. Now technically Leicester may be right - while they don’t appear to be contesting the breach, they are contesting the timing. in the end it doesn’t really matter - A huge fallout is coming for a club that has financially mismanaged itself on an epic scale. Leicester can legally delay the inevitable - but they won’t stop it. They know they are in a huge mess
  4. We have breached them, that’s why they’ve done it. It’s just not been publicized yet
  5. This. Let’s not pretend there wasn’t another option here. There absolutely was. We broke our model, sailed far too close to the wind and mismanaged our final season under Rodgers by allowing him to send us down. This is firmly on the club. Look at Brighton as an example of how to stay within the rules and build sustainably
  6. Right. And how many times will they have won it compared to Bayern in the last 20 years? You know as well as I do that Bayern will come for their manager and best players in due course. The bundasliga isn’t anything to envy
  7. * Dominated by one team and completely boring to watch
  8. There’s a common denominator with the clubs that have been charged so far (Everton, Forest and Leicester). They’ve all been financially mismanaged to a greater or lesser degree. You’re not going to see Brighton on the hook for example We, along with Everton, are an absolute basket case of a club that’s in this mess because we broke our business model and decided to sail very close to the wind chasing Europe by spending beyond our means. We can point the finger at the PL all we like - the rules are published and all clubs our size need to follow them. Most sensibly run clubs actually have.
  9. We wouldn’t survive next season without a points deduction let alone with one. Have you actually watched us defend?
  10. We have no chance playing with inverted fullbacks and trying to copy pep with the players we have. It’s tactical insanity that sees us give away so many chances every game. Enzo plays a system which for a club our size isn’t sustainable
  11. We had 1 shot on target I think and they should have scored 6. Defensively we were a horror show. Good effort from the players but they’ll get battered in the PL if we play that open
  12. The answer is very little in the last 2 years. He’s been dreadful. Then again the other way of looking at it is that he was one of the lowest paid DoFs in the PL with a salary that probably reflects his previous zero experience in the job. What we should be doing as a club is paying a higher salary to an experienced DoF that can undertake the rebuild the club desperately needs. It all comes back to Top I’m afraid
