  1. Could it just be a combination of both? That's how a team works after all.
  2. We have a lot of scandi scouts though. The same scouts that has us linked with Michael Baidoo recently and helped us sign Mads. Of course they would have heard of Nanasi, it's Malmo one of the biggest clubs going in the Scandi leagues. Likewise with Gronbaek who we were linked with in the summer with Bodo/Glimt. It's whether we can convince them of coming to us.
  3. MANIFEST IT INTO EXISTANCE! It just has to happen surely
  4. There's a strong rumour going down that Di Zerbi is Chelsea's preferred choice, he's the 'mystery 4th candidate'. We all know how Chelsea love to poach Brighton's staff, best players and so this would make sense as to why they dropped Poch so fast after Di Zerbi announced his departure the week before. He fits their system better than McKenna and Maresca, highly wanted by the board including Eghbali.
  5. Nope, it's been reported they've had talks with Di Zerbi, Frank and Mckenna.
  6. Vardy had talks over Arsenal back in 2016. This means fvck all. There some people from Chelsea that say Di Zerbi is the supposed '4th candidate' and the preferred choice out both McKenna and Maresca. If we look at Di Zerbi as the prime candidate, it makes sense as to why Chelsea sacked Poch the way they did.
  7. The same Trafford that some Leicester fans were pining for before we signed Mads?
  8. Dunno if it's because I have an art degree but my interpretation of the flowing pattern on the side panels could be like the flowing fur on a fox's tail? I kinda like that detail, I'd be interested if they have some sort of detailing on the back.
  9. The last time we were in the Premier League, we were relegated mainly because of our ancient and horrifically bad defence. Our attack was comfortably mid-table and scored much more than most of those who survived. Enzo has already proven that you don't need experience to succeed, yet people still bang on about wanting prem experience like a dead horse. It's WHO you get it and if they can be molded to what the manager wants. It could be a 24 year old CB who's in the Russian Premier League but if he can ping a ball and can track back then that's more than okay or a 18 year old academy product who has unlimited amount of potential that can challenge Fatawu. Burnley's recruitment policy didn't suit what they needed. As Chelmofox says spending money IS NOT a barometer for success.
  10. t's just lazy comparisons because some people can't be bothered to look beyond 'dID wELl iN ChAmPioNsHiP. wOn'T in T'LeAgUe'.
  11. Chelsea genuinely have no idea what they're doing.
  12. It looks to be models with these clips too.
  13. What's happened?
  14. @StriderHiryu https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/pierre-dwomoh/profil/spieler/652803 Do your magic tactical thing please. We were linked with him in January
  15. So there's a couple of articles on how there's a difference between PSR and FFP. FFP is the UEFA regulations which is a 70% cap on player spending, obviously since we were playing top 6 wages and got relegated, we are going to break them. PSR counts for squad cost and it's measures, not management. PSR limits what a club can spend which is shaped by what a club can generate through its turnover. PSR is basically squad-cost control on wages and fees for those players. Losing Enzo and gaining that 10 mill, wouldn't solve issues because we still need to cut down our squad. It's the squad that is the crucial bit here. Fortunately, we can raise PSR through cup progression which we did, sponsorship, commercial rev (renaming Seagrave to FBS training centre for eg). Broadcasting rights are pitiful in the EFL. The reason why Man Utd, Chelsea don't have the same restrictions as the other 14 clubs is because of their power in commercial, stock-market, and international departments. Also because they are traditionally big sides, more people watch, buy and generally pay more to see them. It comes down to Location, Prestige and customers. Sacking Rodgers was a negative in the accounting, it was the last thing they wanted it do because the club and Brendan knew it was money that couldn't put back in.
  16. Okay, I'll ask, why am I wrong?
  17. Tell me you don't understand PSR without telling me - BINGO! PSR equates to club turnover and PLAYER sales, not a manager sale. That includes cash revenue too which is why we need to find more cash flow. Hotels, sports complexes, brand deals, and international reach helps. We can't go to the EFL and be like 'Oh hi Mr EFL we've sold our manager, does that mean we can go now?' We would be managerless, squad would be very deflated and still be left with players that need to go. 10 million from Chelsea really doesn't mean a damn thing.
  18. Rob Tanner has said on the WYS podast that he fully expects Leicester to offload Daka and keep Tom Cannon, Vardy plus another striker. Cannon is there for the future. We all know Iheanacho isn't going to re-sign. We have a general style. For the past 5-6 years we have a style. We know what that style is. We're a possession based side. Top and the DOF know that. So more than likely in the very unlikely chance he does go, we'll go for someone who is a bit left-field again and possession heavy. It's not that Coady doesn't align with the system, he does. Coady can ping a ball from his time at Wolves. Vestergaard just does it better so he's been left in the cold because you can't drop Vestergaard.
  19. Enzo has said this week with an interview for Gazette Della Sport that he fully accepts that the market will be 'low-key' and he accepts the possibility of a points deduction. He's in it for the long term.
  20. Would we? And get in who exactly and with what manager? @Chocolate Teapot Bear in mind that 10 million wouldn't help with PSR because it's playing staff that matters. We need sponsorship money too (hopefully that's where PTT come in) Considering that Enzo has only managed around 60+ games in his entire professional career, is learning the craft with us because he sees Leicester as a long-term project. Rejected Seville. Why on earth would Chelsea take that risk on a green manager when they're so erratic with their management? If your argument is 'just take the 10 million' then it's pretty shallow and dense.
  21. Oh no not the legion of goal keepers again! Unless we sell Jakub? Goalkeepers is hardly a department we need to look at though
  22. It would completely derail the start of the season and would mess up plans for the recruitment team. We need to do A LOT of rebuilding with fringe players and players out of contract then getting the manpower into the squad to make it competitive for the season. Along with the need for more backroom staff. This would be like throwing more gasoline into the fire. I know you have a hate boner for him @Chocolate Teapot but this would be a bad idea. 10 million isn't that much in the grand cheme of things.
  23. He often gets a lot of transfers wrong. He usually takes news from other journalists and reposts it with more catchy wording. Then the amount of times he reposts to provide an 'update'. He said that Gigi wijnaldum would go to Barca and Ziyech to PSG. I'm not being contrarian for the sake of it. He just steals info off other journos, who he often doesn't credit.
