  1. probably a bit naïve, but can't good players just play well regardless of the managers instructions and start winning games? surely the manager wouldn't complain too much if they were brushing teams aside.
  2. I don't dislike him, I pity him, and I think this is worse in a way. I hope he succeeds but fear he won't.
  3. No, I follow Chris Masterjohn (google his credentials) who explains how seed oils are an oxidative liability, and that they also use hexane to extract the oil from the seeds. I would avoid it if I were you, now back to the topic...
  4. Pretty major issue, actively selling seed oil and sugar laden "food" that they deliberately develop to be addictive to children. Driving an obesity and inflammation epidemic in the name of sweet, sweet profits. I would suggest they are even more detrimental to society than gambling.
  5. didn't they just not breach it because they weren't technically a premier league club at the time?
  6. What rights don't gay people have currently, that means we need rainbows on the arms? Again, I must reiterate I have gays in my immediate family and have done more than most on here I would wager to support the community, but they do have a pride month and all Western establishments and all major corporations change their logos for them for a month. Again, I don't think he needs to be forced to support the movement. I just hope that all of the people that support Palestinians in Gaza realise that the vast majority will all hold exactly the same views as this gentleman. Anyway, I don't think he looks like a particularly great footballer so let's pass.
  7. If he's a devout Muslim I can sympathise with him not wanting to promote homosexuality, even though I strongly disagree. I am very pro-gay rights, but also believe people shouldn't be forced in to promoting something they aren't comfortable with just because society demands it. There's a massive difference between being anti-something and not being pro-something. He should be allowed to not wear the rainbow, as long as he doesn't actively speak out against equal rights.
  8. I don't think I would get any more, it may just be confirmation bias, but everybody I know who has been vaccinated had worse symptoms than the (admittedly few) people I know who didn't get the vaccine. The sad thing is, it's made me sceptical about any quickly developed new vaccines that ay be needed for future pandemics.
  9. I found the same thing, I had two vaccinations and three boosters, whereas my brother didn't have any vaccinations and his symptoms were far milder than mine. The joys of immune system variance!
