Joe Aribo on loan (ffs its now official.)
BrilliantFox replied to Ian Nacho's topic in Transfer Talk
Our incoming Technical Director is from Southampton. Our Head of Recruitment is from Southampton. Aribo is Southampton's highest wage player. The manager with the highest odds to be our next manager is none other than Brussel. Absolutely nailed on they're going to give him the job. -

This is actually a massive signal Brussel is being hired as our manager. -
Divine Mukasa from Manchester City (loan, official.)

@JimJams You literally said this yesterday, cmon you can't be defending this transfer. -
I'm glad someone else is seeing it. Under what circumstance do you expect a man who has never managed a professional football team before to pull out a 1-0 win despite being 10 men down in 15 minutes and then your Striker misses a penalty.

I never said we should But there are players between 25 minutes of play time and regular starters. -
No I'm not saying that, but can you find me the probability of the 10 man team winning? The odds are not exactly equal. Neither did I expect a caretaker manager on his first ever match in charge and first ever football match at the helm to have the nous to win 1-0 in such a situation.

I understand both your points. But I just don't see how he's going to help us. As seen with our current Attacking Midfielder Louis Page, too raw too inexperienced to make a difference. -

Difference between 25 minutes and being a regular starter, lets not be dumb here. -
I'm too level headed to be screaming at King today. Liteally his first match in charge as caretaker and he's been handicapped in 15 minutes. Despite being down to 10 men, still created chances and received a penalty which was wasted by a lump of shite that none of us like either.
-
Can you not connect the dots and see how both this loss today and the loss under Maresca weren't primarily down to the manager but rather the red card?

He's literally only played 25 minutes of Premier League football. Rubbish transfer yet again from Rudkin and Co. -
I've said already the substitutions and in-game management was cowardly, however this is literally his first game in charge of a professional football match. So it just couldn't have gone worse for him could it.
-
Under Maresca we lost at Coventry away because the ref made a horrific decision giving Fatawu a red card. Would have easily won that game otherwise. Dewsbury Hall had already put us 1-0 up.
-
If we won 1-0 today everyone would be going on like we've done the incredible winning with 10 men. People would be saying Andy King is a genius. So why is it when we lose because of a red card that its seen as down to the manager? Rather than a braindead decision by the centreback.
-
Yes so I will admit Andy King got the substitutions wrong. Cowardly to put on more defenders. In-game management was poor today. However, the result today was primarily decided in 15 minutes.
-
If not for the red card, we would have won the game 2-0. Can't put it on King today. Generated 2 xG, red card in 15 mins, Ayew missed a pen. Its a shame this happened on his first day as caretaker. Because now the narrative has been set.
-
Luke Thomas should be in the bomb squad. Play Aluko there. Ayew should be benched for Daka. The rest of the choices are down to injuries, so can't blame him for playing Hamza or DCR.

Getting rid of Bilal Not finding a replacement for Ndidi Not buying a Left Back Not finding a replacement for Vardy.
-
When it comes to formation shape changes, a lot of times no one knows until Sky actually displays the graphic live before the match starts. Unless the club displays the shape of the formation in the lineup announcement. But we never do this.
-
Yes but the idea you're alluding to is not even in question. We've just sold a midfielder. Ramsey is injured. James is injured.
-
Theres no chance we sell two midfielders when the squad is this thin.
-
JUST FREEZE LUKE THOMAS OUT, THATS ALL I ASK FOR MY KING
