Blackburn looked the worst team in the league the other week and now they're safe (not necessarily in my view yet) because they've won a couple. I didnt think I would need to point out to a league table expert that the same can happen to West brom and ourselves and then Portsmouths mighty 4 point gap diminishes in to nothing at all.

I think you havent understood about how a league table works when you stated that a team operating 4 points out of the relegation zone with 14 games to go are safe you wally.

Most teams down in a relegation scrap seem to get a bounce and see an upturn in form - at least in the short term. The rot is so deep with this dressing room and the culture so weak that it may take a while for Rowett to excise.

A bit sad if true but there does seem to be Coventry fans more invested and almost obsessed with regards to our relegation battle than in one of the best seasons they've ever had.

He's probably one of Oxfords greatest managers ever considering they're a league 1 or league 2 club in stature and he kept them up when inheriting a dire situation.

To make up the 14 point gap to finish 10th we would have to win about 11 out of the last 14. That is just not happening to a side who has lost 6 out of the last 7 and has no goalscorer.

Think west brom are our only hope now. Other than against us when we made them look like a premier league team, they have been largely poor. Blackburn have goalscorers.and the others are picking up wins. Even without the 6 points off its looking like we might have gone down anyway.

I agree it would be absurd, but do you trust them to speed things up and get it done before then. History tells us not.
