  1. Yeah but then Carlsberg is p*** water
  2. I think with vardy or nacho up front and playing the enzo system we are simply a little too predictable. Thing is we're so good at it that it still generally works. What I love with daka up front is that it's still essentially the same system but with a new air of mystery up front. Daka is just more energetic and athletic in his approach and suddenly the opposition aren't quite so sure in what method we are going to play the ball through. Consequently it opens up teams more as they are suddenly second guessing a long ball over the top and instead there's a through ball to a winger.
  3. Was better tonight. Big applause to the singing section who effectively conducted the atmosphere and brought a really good blend of classics and player chants to keep a steady general buzz. I was surrounded by a few different faces tonight and they all Seemed in the mood and up for up it more than the regular Saturday crowd. Wonder If those committed to a late cold Wednesday night have a bit more passion than those who turn up 3pm Saturday..
  4. I'm sadly not confident. Really hope to be proven wrong.
  5. Hehe. I'm sure the raucous crowd will keep me awake..
  6. Phew. I can sleep easy tonight.
  7. Ah bless you are sensitive. I actually thought it was quite funny. Certainly made me smile. Think it was probably the irony of having my grammar corrected by someone using the statement 'The fvck happened to paragraphs?'. Kinda like farting out loud and your stinky ass dog looking at you with a disapproving look. All good.
  8. Yeah sorry Dad.
  9. The 'you pays your money you decide on how you support and when you leave' argument. I think people are missing the point. That argument holds up well for when you purchase a match day stream from the club and watch at home. You are not depriving anyone a chance to support there. Do as you wish. The stadium however has limited seats. The manager and most fans recognise that those fortunate enough to have a seat are therefore the only ones who can create the atmosphere and be the 12th man. Purchasing a ticket and thereby depriving someone else that opportunity comes with a responsibility. Listen to the manager if you don't believe me....every week he is asking the fans to bring the noise and support. I don't just buy a ticket to simply watch Leicester. I take a full day out of my weekend with my family to see them play but importantly give them that support and in turn get a buzz from that feeling when the team is playing well and the fans are united and rocking the stadium. Nothing like it. Sadly people's selfish attitudes seems to be destroying that. We are a collective..it only works if we are. Instead we are thousands of individuals who think I'll just do what I want that suits me with no regard for the big picture. Sad sign of the times.
  10. We need to collectively let these so called fans know that they're an embarrassment. Never been one to turn on own fan base but this lot aren't proper fans anyway and are ruining the match day experience. Let's start our own 'Is there a fire drill' chant or something. There must be something..
  11. 4 nil up and top of the league. Should have been stood there at the end euphoric and happy applauding the lads. Instead..never felt so effing embarrassed as a Leicester fan in the 40 years I've been supporting. Half the stadium pretty much gone. Please please you lot - p@#£ off and 'support' some other team. It's a disgrace.
  12. Don't really get why the club insists on family stand being right next to away fans. Do they not realise what are a dismal atmosphere it is for the youngsters to encounter as their first games. I soon stopped taking my lad in there when he was first old enough to attend. All you hear is the abuse of the away fans and you leave as a kid thinking your owns fans are rubbish and quiet compared to the exciting away fans whom you have heard all game long. Is that what the club wants? So preoccupied in making sure there isn't any tension that they've basically chucked the families in to receive all the abuse and give a sh**e impression for our young newbies.
  13. Because it isn't just a handful who are deciding (because they can and its their right) to leave early, but for some reason we now have a culture of masses making their way out before full time. That makes our fan base look rightly sh** and as part of that fan base that bothers me strangely enough. We are supporters, and when we're doing well it'd be nice if 'the vast majority' showed that support. The closest you get in football to face to face player/fan recognition is that bit at the end of the match. Where they turn to the stands and we can show we appreciate their efforts by standing and applauding and singing their names. Equally if we think they have done cr** then we can walk early and when they look up to the stands for adulation, they instead see rows and rows of empty seats. It sends a message. Masses leaving early even when they've played their hearts out robs us as a fan base of sending that message. Takes away any power or say we have due to displaying total indifference whatever the result. So yes I'm bothered.
  14. We've got an excellent manager and team that want to play for us and one another. Make no mistake people will view what we currently have with envious eyes and come after players and enzo. Do you think perhaps as fans that, as equally as we should show our disapproval when we had the dross manager and team mentality of last season, that just maybe we should also show just how much we appreciate what manager and players are doing on the pitch now? The indifference our fan base shows by walking out early whether bad or good makes a mockery of the message we can send. I want enzo and the boys to know we appreciate what they are currently achieving. It feels pathetically hollow as I stand there applauding them with row upon row of empty seats in front of me.
  15. Just watched the video of the team and enzo celebrating on the pitch at the end. As the camera revolves around them and you see from their perspective the vast empty seats it just looks so sh**. Never mind away fans chanting at our part timers, I think perhaps we ought to. Shame a few into sticking around perhaps. Trying to rebuild that player fan connection and so many bu**ering off early really doesn't help.
  16. Still find it so embarrassing the amount who leave early. The away fans love it, watching loads leave and rip the pi** out of us. Rightly so. I see we've resorted to the 'stand up if you love Leicester chant', I'm guessing to try to mask the vast number who are already standing as they make their way out..
  17. So pre-empting that Tom Cannon will score goals and press like vardy does .... Song. What's going on Original lyrics And so I wake in the morning And I step outside And I take a deep breath and I get real high And I scream at the top of my lungs What's going on? And I say, hey-ey-ey Hey-ey-ey I said “Hey, what’s going on?” Changed to So there's this bloke who keeps scoring for this Leicester side And who wins the ball back coz we press real high And we scream at the top of our lungs It's Tom Cannon! And we say hey-ey-ey hey-ey-ey We said hey, it's Tom Cannon!
  18. Winks is the heartbeat of this team. He is the one player that we simply cannot replace. The 'almost mutual swap' (yes I know money was involved) that we did with spuds is one of the best mutual deals for both clubs. Maddison flying for them and making them fly as a consequence (dammit) but winks doing the same for us. He controls the games in the championship. He is awesome. Genuinely, if someone said have maddison back but you'd have to lose winks then I'd refuse. Winks is exactly what we need and our best player by a mile.
  19. To tune of - don't you want me Mavididi baby Mavididi ohhh Or instead when he plays Conor coady baby Conor coady ohhhh
  20. I was thinking along these lines. If (or should I obviously say - when) he scores we should change it to Wilfred. Wilfred Ndidi. He'll score a goal or two
  21. Steve Harley and Cockley rebel - make me smile. Come up and see me, make me smile Or do what you want, running wild Changed to our leicester city makes us smile We score when we want, running wild
