Poor to have missed out on a bonus point today

They didn't - they got one for scoring four tries.

With a transitional squad like this one, a trip to Bristol was always going to be tough.

Tigers will do well to make the top half this season.

Like anyone else who grew up in Hinckley, I cannot stress how much I absolutely hate Coventry. Despise them.

The Fatawu red card game two years back made me so angry back when I lived in the USA that my nice Ecuadorian neighbour had to knock on my door to make sure I was alright. Thin walls.

They don’t still have that fat Jack Grealish knockoff from Temu do they?

Nope, he went to Sheffield United - which is clearly turning out well for him.. 😄😄😄

This is a game we need to be up for from minute one. So MC MUST start with his strongest 11, which includes Ricardo and Winks.

  3. Cifuentes got carried away with the wins in the last couple of games.  The starting 11 looked very iffy, even before the red card.

It was a marginal call, but after Ricardo's escape in the previous match, we can't really complain.

Once Ricardo and Winks, who showed their international experience and quality well today, came on, we competed far more and deserved the point.

Given that Cov - even with 11 men - couldn't win at that venue, the outcome isn't quite as bad as some are making out.

If someone sets up a “Khun Top out” Banner and it needs funding I reckon people will get behind that and contribute towards it now !

I think the time has come now lads to get behind this or something similar

There are a number of issues here.

While some in our fanbase are clearly sufficiently glib, superficial and amnesiac enough to view Aiyawatt as a Chansiri Mark 2, the reality is somewhat different.

While the Chansiri era (error?) at Hillsborough has been a perpetual diet of lower-league dross, Aiyawatt has presided over periods of success, including our first-ever FA Cup.

To many Foxes, especially those of a certain generation who view that trophy as a holy grail, this act alone renders him untouchable, and would probably continue doing so even if (heaven forbid!!) he were to take us to the National League.

In addition, as others have noted already on here, a legacy of the air crash means that Aiyawatt will always have a powerful emotional bond with our club and our city. Both will forever be a part of his heritage just as they form part of ours.

All this is before even considering the significant financial practicalities of any takeover bid.

(TL:DR - Trying to shift Aiyawatt is a non-starter. Rudkin (and maybe Whelan) are attainable targets, though..)

This post warrants a ban imho

Why? It states a genuine fact.

Coady was a genuine leader - his record at Wolves proves that. Even in 2023-24 we were unbeaten in every league game in which he played.

I'd have preferred to have kept him at City in preference to Farce or Panic, but the payroll needed cutting and Wrexham - whom we must now consider a rival club 🤮🤮🤮 - offered to take him off our hands.

There is a serious leadership crisis at City both on and off the pitch. It was evident even under Maresca and has only deepened since he left.

Monga on at half time for Ayew and Mavididi up front.

Cifuentes is a coward for not starting him.

Remind us just how many goal involvements Monga has in his career to date.

And how many chances did he create when he started vs Huddersfield's second team in midweek?

Unfortunately the ref is letting the PNE players get physical with Fatawu.

This is the Championship. What else did we expect?

See the millions Aiyawatt and Rudkin pumped into Seagrave are really paying dividends again this afternoon..🙄

Liverpool booing god save the queen again to appear edgy. Buying tickets to watch a bunch of millionaires bought for hundreds of millions of pounds, that'll really stick it to the man....

Ermm... it's been "God Save the King" for the last three years.

And there's no real reason to play it anyway at a game between two English teams, even if his son is the FA president..

I could see Newcastle going for him if it goes tits up with Howe

or maybe he'll finally get a job in Spain like he always wanted

What as, a drinks waiter? 😄

He wouldn't exactly be an upgrade on Alonso, Flick or Simeone..

Not a great afternoon for English cricket.

    Fixed that for you.

Annoyed we let India off the hook and took just TWO wickets in the best part of five sessions.

But at least we now know that Carse, Woakes and Dawson aren't Ashes-winning bowlers. It's better than finding that out in Perth or Adelaide.

Archer's lack of match fitness was always going to catch up with him.  I'd be VERY surprised if he's risked for The Oval.

Bring in Atkinson, Tongue, Wood (if fit) and maybe even Rehan in for the final Test.

India need to take 20 wickets to level the series.  Not sure the quality is there for that to happen.

I'll forgive you though, I make that about 2 wins in about ten test matches for India so you must be incredibly excited.....😅

5 wins from the last 6 games vs England though.. 😟

The last India-England series ended up 4-1 to India.  This one could easily have the same result.

Stokes's injuries look to have caught up with him, along with his weaknesses against spin. Woakes, too, seems shot after a truly dismal showing on his home ground.

It's asking a lot to rely on Jofra Archer - who has played just ONE first -class game in the last FOUR YEARS - to front our bowling attack for the rest of the series.

Never mind, though, only a month or so before The Hundred, so trebles all round at Lord's again.. 🙄

  12. He was a warrior, who always loved playing against us, right from his days at Porto when he scored the last goal in a 5-0 win against a virtual City B team.

He then moved to Wolves, where he destroyed a City defence featuring Harry Maguire, Jonny Evans and Wes Morgan. In the process he became only the second Portugal player (after CR7) to score a Premier League hat-trick.

But he'll be remembered most for THAT League Cup tie at Anfield, when we went 3-1 up and looked to be cruising to the semi-finals. He had other ideas, though, spearheading a fightback which saw Liverpool level the game in stoppage time and then win the subsequent penalty shootout.

As Luke Thomas found out that night, Jota could be a master of the dark arts at times. But he was the type of player that every fan would want to wear their club's shirt.

His last-ever game saw Portugal beat Spain to clinch the Nations League.  He was enjoying the best summer of his life - until it was ended suddenly and abruptly.

His loss will be felt throughout football - and, indeed, the world.

    RIP. 😟

It needs moving though, to the garden..

A club owner died at the stadium in dramatic and upsetting circumstances. It may sound insensitive, but that shouldn't be a Munich or Hillsborough level memorial. They were young players and fans who all died 'in the line of duty'

And Vichai (as well as his staff and crew) didn't???

He gave his life for our club.

Whatever we may feel about King Power, that should NEVER be forgotten.
