Love that Oz, cheers. The match 1/2 thing came from a mate of mine who always texts me when we're playing a televised match to tell me whether decisions have been right or not because I'm at the game and he's a neutral watching at home. It can be infuriating because I want to be that partisan, biased observer for those 90 minutes. I don't want the "right result", I just want Leicester to win. Found it interesting to do because it was obviously a highly controversial match which people saw in lots of different ways.

The Guardian are giving away copies every day this week for the best letter in to The Fiver, although the one today had a bizarre error in it which gave me a very different name...

The tifo idea sounds amazing in theory but can't help thinking the concept is at odds with what Union FS are about. It would essentially be promoting a product for financial gain. I have sent a copy to the New Walk Museum who said they would add it to their collection. I haven't had a chance to go to see it yet but it might already be on display.

Totally agree. I had to get the book out relatively quickly but the idea of rush-releasing it to maximise sales is totally at odds with the best time to read about last season, which isn't straight after it finished. I haven't written a book before if that's what you mean! I've done lots of writing on LCFC in the past in various different places. The stars aligned for this to happen at this point in time though.

Lots of review copies have gone out. The editor of WSC personally asked for one apparently, which bodes well. Got to wait and see now. Fingers crossed! Yeah, the last thing I want to do is piss the club off, would run it by them. They might love the book. We'll see...

The Merc haven't really shown any interest in it because of Tanner's book which is fair enough. I haven't got funds to advertise it myself. The publishers are exploring various things I think. The main thing is the comments on this thread though, that really has made it for me already.

Not a clue really mate. It seems to have dipped a bit in the past few days. It's difficult to know how to get it out there really other than banging on via social media.

I haven't actually read it cover to cover properly but I've done from various points midway through to the end three or four times. Just for the memories to be honest!

Cheers. It's been interesting to hear a few people getting emotional at the first few pages! Personally I start going at page 150 and the Chelsea-Spurs game tips me over the edge (yes, I do keep re-reading it just to make sure it happened...)
