Cheers, I think you've summed it up well. I'm not really in the book at all, it's all about the fans as a collective. Of course we'll now go back to being split over the manager and players and who to sign etc but for the past year it's felt like we've all been part of the same group that's just been desperate for City to win the league. I think you'll like it.

Yeah, will do. Need to check with the publishers how much I can release etc as part of the contract but definitely will be excerpts before it's out.

Just sent the final amends. The book goes to the printers tomorrow. Quite a few FTers namechecked, a handful even interviewed alongside the likes of Emile Heskey.

I'm confident in the content. Some of the others will be rush jobs by people with no understanding of the emotion involved. To be honest I'm not bothered about the other books or competing too much. I just want other City fans to read it because I think they'll like it. I started writing it for our fans and just to see people on here have pre-ordered it makes me happy.

So glad we didn't have an Appleton-lifting-the-cup moment!

My final deadline to submit everything to the publisher is Friday. God bless LCFC for having everything sewn up by now. If the league title was still in the balance I'd be a gibbering wreck. As it is, sauntering down to the big smoke today and then off to the victory parade tomorrow with the rest of the week off to write the final few chapters.
