Well done on missing tbe entire point of my post.

    It's quite spectacular.

I was talking about the variations on the the theme of "we promote" in this thread that were at best witless and at worst a bit mocking foreigners for how they speak, in a way I found to be going down a dark path, in a way that made me feel uncomfortable.

If you disagree, knock yourself out, do funny voices of foreigners.

I think it ain't all that witty, and I am sick to the back teeth of "we promote" as a line in here, it bores me.   But you do you.

    I understood you perfectly

Another stunning piece of recruitment from Jon Rudkin's high performance football strategy department - a really thorough bit of scouting there....

It takes some doing to bring in four new players on loan and not improve the team one jot, even with such a low bar.

More impressive still, to find a striker even worse than Ayew and Daka in August and then, in January, given a second chance, deciding against filling the gaping hole we have up front.

Whilst there are a lot of funny posts in this thread, there is also some witless stuff which makes me feel uncomfortable.

    Our owner said 'we promote'.

Whilst the sentiment was utterly wrong, and a blithe failure to recognise our true position, what do we concentrate on?

Har bloody har.  His English ain't great.

    How fluent is your Thai?

    Thought so

To me, all the bad English pastiches of "we promote" in this thread are one rung down from pulling your eyes wide and doing an accent.

It would be unacceptable if you did it in a public square, so it should be unacceptable in here.

    Do better.

My Thai is dreadful.  Well, non-existent, but then I haven't been running a Thai football team for 12 years.

He has studied business at Bangkok University and worked in international business for years.  The international language of business being English of course.

Top should do better.  'We promote' shows that he is an idiot or that he has spent so little time here that he hasn't even bothered to pick up the basics.

I'll continue to mock him for his crap English and I'll mock him for being a short arse and I'll mock him most of all for being a buffoon who has destroyed my football club and I will not be asking for any body else's approval or permission

It’s the oldest trick in the book

A distraction method for all the masses to follow

LCFC: Hey remember when we won the title !!!

Fans: We’ve just been relegated and KP is a disaster

LCFC: But look at our funday it’s going to be great

Rudkin/Top Just keep mentioning the clubs success as we don’t want anyone being reminded of what’s going on now !
Give them some more Chang and Doughnuts

That's one way of looking at it.

Another is that celebrating the title win before the fans like this only serves to highlight how far we have fallen so quickly and the breathtaking magnitude of the management's ****wittery in getting us here.

I think it's tone deaf and should be mothballed.  It's a bit like giving a starving man a photo of a donut.

    The points deduction looks irrelevant.

There us literally no fight severe lack of bottle.  No one gives a ****. Embarrassing

I think the points deduction was pivotal actually.  That was the point that heads dropped and spirits were broken.

It cost us far more than six points

    Who brought in this manager?

Who brought in the middling managers before that?

    Who signed these dreadful players?

Why on earth is that person still here?! Better yet, why did they get a promotion!?

You think we could attract a half-decent manager? Rowett is our level now.

What do you mean so what?

so the point I was answering. Cooper is on a different level to 400 game Rowett in the championship with various clubs

I mean, whatever Cooper has or hasnt done is irrelevant, because not he, nor anyone else would be able to sort this lot out at this stage

  8. 6 minutes ago, HankMarvin said:

At this level Cooper took a Forest team near the bottom and took them up, and Swansea to the playoffs twice and the final.

he shouldn’t be mentioned in the same breath as this underachiever

So what.  Do you think Cooper Coukd get a tune out of this bunch of milksops?  I don't think there is a manager on the planet that could make a coherent team out of this rabble at this point.

Tough calls all round as they've all more or less been totally shit, we've hardly scored a goal, no offence but no ones bothered about the womens team.

I assume it'll have all of the charm and excitement of an elderly relatives funeral.

There's no 'more or less' about it.  We have been categorically, emphatically and epically shit.

What is the recent obsession with this? He might be a big lad but he's wank. He's slow, ponderous and has a unique ability to put himself in the least effective positions at all times. I don't see what he can do that can't be achieved by putting Vichai's statue up top.

I'd go along with this idea.  Might create a bit of panic.   I mean, It's not ideal, but the alternatives are Daka and Ayew.

I would add that the evidence tells us that we don't have a squad who are fit for purpose for Premiership or Championship football either!

We have a squad which, for a large number of them has actually won the championship and players that have had international and Premier league careers.  That is what makes this squad so revolting.  Don't let them off the hook by accepting that they're not good enough.  They've been phoning it in for weeks.
