  1. I reckon that if Kisnorbo hadn't been injured we wouldn't have gone down to Division Three. Obviously never know, but he was good for us - one of the very few at that time.
  2. I've been trying to erase the memory. Thanks for the fookin' reminder.
  3. Citeh are all over BBC Breakfast this morning. I do wish they would shut the fvck up, though. We're not champions - yet.
  4. Thanks Danny, and apologies for the delay in replying. I'll give that a go..
  5. I've got CyberGhost so I can be in NZ, but how do you overcome the payment issue? Don't you need a local bank account?
  6. Watched it on Sky and the sound was magic. My favourite song, in the last five minutes or so, was "four nil to the one-man team" - absolutely brilliant.
  7. Today was stressful but ultimately fantastic. My wonderful daughter Hannah ran the London Marathon in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. For various reasons, neither my wife nor I could get over to see her, so we watched the event on TV, and followed her on the Marathon website - which, incidentally, is a marvel of technology, showing each runner's individual progress, updated every five seconds or so. I can't tell you how proud I am. Hannah managed to finish her first (only?) marathon in 5 hours 47 minutes and 33 seconds. She's raised just over £1800 - so far - so if you have a couple of quid to spare, maybe you could help her reach her £2000 target. And then I managed to watch City against Swansea from about 28 minutes in - just in time to watch Leonardo's first goal. What a wonderful day..
  8. Great article in the Indie about "The Leicester Method": http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/leicester-city-jamie-vardy-danny-drinkwater-collectivism-a6979091.html?utm_source=indyfootball&utm_medium=email12042016
  9. Another Spurs fan starts foaming at the mouth: http://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/article/leicester-city-spurs-fc-premiership A very balanced individual - a chip on both shoulders.
  10. To be fair, most Sunderland fans recognise our achievement and are fairly complimentary. Let's not forget what it is like to support a team that it run by people who know fvck all about either the club or the game: we've been there in our fairly recent past, and it's dreadful. Sunderland (and Nerwcastle) pull in crowds of 40K/50K each week, and they usually watch sh!te like we saw on Sunday. Can't be good, so if they take it out on us, maybe it's understandable.
  11. It doesn't look very good, although I can imagine it's the sort of thing that happens all the time. Needs to be sorted, and quickly, because David Conn is a highly respected journalist who is an expert in investigating football finances.
  12. Given how long it was before he kept one, that is a fantastic achievement.
  13. Exactement ! (N'oubliez pas l'espace avant le point d'exclamation). OK, I'll get me manteau.
  14. So do the French - and the water is not even hot, usually!
  15. Decent comment by Alan Pardew: http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/03/31/alan-pardew-says-only-leicester-stars-have-been-better-than-this/. I like this: "Without a doubt - outside of the Leicester boys - Payet is the best outfield player this year". Will we ever see anything like this season again? No, thought not!
  16. Interesting that the only one who didn't predict us to win it is a Sunderland fan - then again, he predicted Sunderland to stay up.
  17. According to Wikipedia, Preston NE have also won all four. And no, we don't want to emulate that record.
  18. I watched the trailer for this, and it looks like a brilliant programme - I just hope it's available afterwards as a download. There's a City fan on a Live phone-in right at the start of the traler, and he says something like "No players, no idea which is why we are gonna get relegated" - presumably before a ball had been kicked. Got me wondering whether we need a "Be honest, what did you think back in August" thread - if there isn't one already. I had City finishing 12th, and all my mates thought I was daft.
  19. Fvck me. They have a different piece, which talks about "the club's head of recruitment Steve Walsh, who was a special guest on Tuesday night's Sports Bar." http://talksport.com/football/leicester-super-scout-steve-walsh-tells-talksport-kasper-schmeichel-best-goalkeeper-premier Complete halfwits.
  20. More from TalkShite - http://talksport.com/football/leicester-super-scout-steve-walsh-tells-talksport-kasper-schmeichel-best-goalkeeper-premier "[Leicester City's] head of recruitment and former captain Steve Walsh..."
  21. I remember that fvckin donkey "playing" for us in 2004 and he was an absolute disgrace. He made absolutely no effort to contribute, didn't raise his pace above an amble, and p1ssed off to insult Reading in similar vein after six months. One of the ultimate "last big payday" merchants, along with little tw4t Dennis Wise.
  22. Not seen this anywhere else, but there's a piece on BBC Breakfast about City, featuring a young Gary L, Richard III, Stringer, Sam Bailey and Chris Prike (the guy who cashed in his £100K bet for £31K). I guess it will be repeated through the morning.
  23. Better still, go to somewhere like Dachau. Not far from Munich and on the outskirts of a pretty little village. Stand there in a wooden hut, and imagine that you're going to be stripped naked and taken from there to a gas chamber. Then tell us that holocaust comedy is a much-neglected genre.
  24. Enjoyable to read though.
