Imagine if we had supporters that backed the players and the coach?!
-
Good to see the moaners have started already
-
Yeah but football isn't inevitable?
-
They're on the same number of point as us. Of course they can finish 3rd.
-
It's the ability to be completely blind to what has happened that gets me. Ipswich capitulated against Cardiff. Leeds should have lost to Hudds. These games are won on razor fine margins and I don't think any of the top 3 is in sparkling form. Some of you just enjoy drama.
-
Anything could happen. You mean like the club second in the league on goal difference and with a game in hand MIGHT get automatically promoted? Well fvck me, I'd never have thought it.
-
Well at least this thread will be helpful in identifying which little babies need their soiled nappies changing after we've won the league!
-
Correct. Doesn't mean that I don't think you're unduly worrying about us though
-
In all seriousness, I know what you mean. It becomes all consuming. You watch it or listen to it on a Saturday. You'll watch the highlights that evening. In the meantime, you'll have been on Foxestalk, twitter, read the match reports, had some more banter on Foxestalk. There's no rest from it. Everyone is now an expert on tactics, everyone thinks they know best. It's brutal. It's why I jokingly said, "live a little" to someone else earlier, it had a grain of truth to it! I follow another sport, not rugby thank God, and the scheduling and relative lack of popularity means that although there's always another game, its not as life consuming as football has become.

Ok, so ignoring luck and referees, two factors out of our control, then yes, it is still in our hands.
-
I'm not going to call you anything, but even if it is a fact, how much further does it take us? I could point out that over all of the games this year, we're still level on points with a game in hand.
-
But our fate is 100% in our hands! Why so negative!
-
Yes. I know. And I'm saying it hasn't been good for how some of you enjoy football.
-
Nah. Some people love to feel superior about their opinions. Maresca is too green. Doesn't play with passion. Not flexible enough. Been sussed out. All bollocke of course, y'know, but you see it every week on here - posters thrilled when we concede.
-
Yes. And I'm saying that it's not necessarily a good thing in terms of how much some of you enjoy watching football.
-
Of course they will. Some people on here genuinely love losing because they get to moan about x, y or z.
-
Has social media ruined football for some of you? I don't remember in the 90s it ever being this bad whenever we won, lost or free a game. There were no meltdowns, even at the height of our yo-yoing. Is it just that some of you want to lap it up over rival fans on twitter, or that you feel insecure when Leeds fans wind you up on Instagram?
-
We really do have one of the most pathetic fan bases in football. Some of you need to go outside and live a little.
-
Recollection is a funny thing isn't it?
-
Warnock would have been better.
-
Yeah, we're not making a fist of it, being the top of the league. No way at all.
-
Go on then. Find those odds.
-
I mean this is absolutely correct.
-
Care. Don't care.

**** me, this thread is, recently at least, one of the most pathetic on FT. "Oooh big daddy Ipswich are going to dominate us so hard. Look at them pressing with such conviction. Big powerful strokes into the box". In one very minor, specific way, winning the Premiership was the worst thing that happened to us.
