Also major trophies? Some have more heritage or prestige, but winning any league is still a major achievement. I suppose this conversation explains why massive chunks of our fanbase are so poor.

I mean, we were entertained because we put away our chances. It's that simple really. Take the second goal for example. Yes, it's a long ball, but watch the pass, spin and movement off the ball up the field. This is what we've seen in the past, the only difference being that the ball travels through the air. And I think we need to be a little careful about time to set the low block thing. Plymouth were terrible - yes, we sprung our trap more successfully than usual, but only because they allowed us to do so. Otherwise, it was more of the same controlled style which has seen us dominate most of the league.

I just don't think this is true, but you clearly see our style entirely differently so I'm not going to argue.

Isn't this exactly what Enzoball is? Control possession, lure teams on and then strike quickly? We played just like we always do, but Plymouth were tactically naive and/or thought their system could dominate ours.

For the final time, the circumstances of the second goal are SO specific, that any other outcome was impossible. No professional footballer, no Sunday league player, is going to 'reset' in a 3 on 1 scenario. The ball luckily broke into his stride and then it was a case of running forwards. A good, well taken goal, but it doesn't have any deeper significance about how we play.

No one is saying that it wasn't a counter attacking goal. By definition it is. Most of us are saying that we're not going to be a counter attacking team because we don't have the players for that system (or a manger that wants or needs to play that way).

There's nothing to get. We scored on a counter following a good defensive header that fell fortunately. That isn't "playing with pace", its footballers doing their job and scoring an easy 3 on 1. You don't like insults but then use one? Nice one boss.

They literally just ran in straight lines. It's no better or worse than any other goal we've scored, but we're not going to win this league playing counter attacking football.
