Sticking With Pearson

Recommended Posts

I've had some criticism on this forum when I have backed Pearson when things were going bad, because I always believed we were playing well and not getting that luck/not taking our chances which has little to do with the manager anyway. That stroke of genius to play 3 at the back has been amazing. I remember before that Arsenal game, he got hammered because people felt it was too defensive. Completely untrue.

This nonsense about him not having the PL experience as well I do not buy into. A good manager will be a good manager regardless of the division he plays in. I hope we have put this argument to rest and that by sticking with Pearson we go on to have a successful season next year maybe coupled with a cup run. I do not think any other manager would have saved us in the position we were in. I said before the West Ham game, what's the point in sacking the manager when we were playing well. If we were not playing well then fair play.

Anyway enough of the lecture. This has been an amazing run of form, and we have pulled off the greatest of greatest escapes. We are in for exciting times as Leicester fans, especially with Pearson in charge every season has had some sort of drama associated with it. The man has taken us from League 1 to the PL and never has had a bad full season with us. Genuinely think he will overtake MON one day, but that's all a big if atm.
