Vlad the Fox Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 Pearson and his backroom staff were all under the impression they'd been sacked. Sky Sports (and Rob Dorsett in particular) wouldn't run a story like that without very very very strong sources. Dad wanted them gone, son changed his mind. Pearson and his backroom staff were all under the impression they'd been sacked. Sky Sports (and Rob Dorsett in particular) wouldn't run a story like that without very very very strong sources. Dad wanted them gone, son changed his mind.Had they been told officially though or was this just a disagreement between father and son which was overheard before they ended with the decision that Pearson stays? As under the impression sounds like they'd been told by an indirect source, someone jumping the gun. Plus these are successful business men who are running the club calmly and efficiently, they don't strike me as a knee jerk decision makers in the heat of anger, i can't see one making a rash decision without discussing it with others. I'm not saying your wrong I'm just interested as to what really happened because something doesn't sit right with the story and it seems dorset has possibly made a balls up and got away with it.
