LCFC95 Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 In 2014 me and my friends took part in the Colour Run for LOROS and raised £2172, this year we are going to another level and cycling from Leicester to Paris in August, around 400 miles! Our inspiration is one of the lads in the group mother, who battled cancer for 6 years and got the all clear in 2012. However two years later in January 2014 we were given the news that the cancer had returned, only this time it is terminal. The way we have seen her deal with this is admirable and the reason why we are all inspired and determined to take on and complete this challenge. We are doing these events for LOROS as its a local charity that looks after terminally ill patients and we are all Leicester lads. I would appreciate it if you could take a look and spread the message to help us reach our target! We put the page up last night and have got nearly £500 over night, just £9500 left to hit our goal!
