baylisslcfc Posted 16 April 2016 Posted 16 April 2016 I'm posting here on behalf of a friend who is producing a book on the incredible season at our football club. He is welcoming passages and contributions from fellow supporters and members of the football family. If you would like to write a piece on a game during this season please comment which game below and email [email protected] with your details. The book aims to chart the clubs fortunes and the emotions that this season has brought, not a hard nosed factual match by match account. Any input as well as advice would be hugely appreciated. Any profits would go to charitable causes. You can follow @hecamefromitaly on Twitter for updates. Thank you and up the City! (Please be advised that games such as Arsenal, Man City (a), Newcastle (a), Spurs (a) and Villa (h) have already been covered) Mods: I didn't post this in "The book - it's happening" thread as I didn't want to tread on Fez's toes. However please merge if you feel it needs to be.
Claridge Posted 16 April 2016 Posted 16 April 2016 If I am at the ground, with my family when we win the leagueit will be by a million miles the best day of my life. Thank you Claudio
Alf Bentley Posted 16 April 2016 Posted 16 April 2016 My only comment is to reveal that, at first, I misheard the words of the song referenced in the thread title. I genuinely thought that it was: "Ranieri, Wo-Oh-Oh-Oh! He came from Italy, To have a cup of tea" With all the other crazy things that have happened over the past year, and with Claudio's relaxed, gentlemanly demeanour, it wouldn't surprise me if it was true. He just popped over for a cuppa, got an unexpected offer of the LCFC manager's job, thought "why not?" and has been taking it week by week ever since.
