Why does everything come at once?

Why does everything come at once? Not staggered over time?

All over the summer I have been being paid a full weeks work (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur, Fri) and I have had nothing special to buy or to save up for, now I have started back College which means I am one days pay down every week (I should be being paid for going to college but due to complecations with my company, e.t.c, I am not being paid) now I am a days pay down I have things I want and things that are going wrong and need replacing.

All the things I need which have only started to been listed over the last few weeks;

-I need new speakers for work because someone put them on there hi-fi at work and blew them

-I'm thinking i'll have to buy a hi-fi for home because out of the blue every CD I put in the Hi-fi keeps jumping/skipping!

-I have just spent £150+ on a new Drill/Driver set for work

-I have listed £400+ worth of tools I want for work

-There are a few CD's want.

-My mum's birthdays coming up.

:o:( Why does everything come at once and why does everything come at the wrong time - 1 days pay down doesn't sound alot but it all adds up especially when your paid monthly!

Sounds to me as if you need to learn the benefits of budgeting and financial planning... :D

I gather that this is not taught at school?

It was but I learnt nothing at school!

I am quite good with my money actually I do have a fair bit of money in my bank because of my job but my problem is I have the money and I like shopping but I hate spending, quite annoying and I annoy myself because I see something I like and want but I won't let myself buy it even if I know I can easly afford it!

Weird ;)

The easiest way is:

1) you decide how much you can/want to spend a week/month (and how much you want to save)

2) you stick to these percentages... (save the correct amount)

3) you do spend your "shopping quota" as you see fit and you ENJOY IT!!!

:P

At least you're getting money regularly - I had to work for 10 months to save up enough money to do my course at uni and have enough money to live on for a year ;)

Now I earn nothing :(

Had it cut again today as well! ;)

Only had it cut a few weeks ago grown back well quick! Not had any of the back because i'm trying to keep that long but i've had it trimmed and tidied up on the top and sides!
