giulioenrico Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Hi people! Congratulations to you for your PL title and to Ranieri, which as Cagliari supporter I am particular attached to. He was the coach that at the end of the 80's when I was just a kid, saved us from a relegation to 4th division, following years we get into Serie B and the other into Serie A. The first season in A, mine (as fan) and his (as a coach), was troubled. First round ended last in the league with very few points and everybody giving us no chances. We did not relegate at the end. I met him in few occasion. He is an honest respectful man of another time compared to "modern" coaches Again congrats congrats congrats
Lestoh Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Does he come across as bat shit crazy when he speaks Italian too?
Chester Dontlie Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Grazie mate, always glad to hear stories about Ranieri! Hey, Cagliari is going to be promoted to Serie A again, congratulations! Haven't seen any of your Serie B games but I hope Salamon is doing alright, he has a chance to go to Euros for sure
giulioenrico Posted 3 May 2016 Author Posted 3 May 2016 He is not a man of many words and Italian media tends to forget good old buddies (except now that he is on all newspapers.. but not for long, for sure) for crap coaches like Conte who has powerful friends/agents... but I am sure you know what I mean. Surely fact that English is not his first language and he has probably learn it fully only when he moved to Chelsea, does not help his fluency. But I think he does quite good. He is also particularly shy

But they draw... well... Salamon was a surprise.. when they tell u a very tall polish defender is joining you are a bit skeptical. He is superb, probably the best there. The best? That the old ownership of 20+ years is no more and now (badly) managing Leeds United. We all love to take a look at the damages Cellino (former owner) is doing in Yorkshire, cos it means it is finally doing elsewhere. And how they "love" him
