Possibly for promotional purposes? Imagine one of the most important players of the club's season going to collect the trophy in a T-shirt and jeans.

So should he do a John Terry and celebrate in full kit or not? He's been invited to be with Jamie Redknap and Jamie Carragher on the Sky live showing of the Everton match - I suppose he could still wear his kit in the studio.
