Guest Electric Yetis Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 I took my phone in to O2 at Fosse Park to be repaired on Saturday. They advised it would be delivered back to my address. This morning I got a text from them confirming it will be delivered today and also got a subsequent text from UK Mail saying it would be with me between 11:14-12:14. My girlfriend aware of this decided to play with my son in the front garden, she was there from 10am to 12:45pm. No one came. I then get a text from UK Mail saying my parcel was left safely in my porch at 11:43. Firstly I don't have a porch and secondly that is absolutely bo11ocks. My garden is small, no-one walked past my girlfriend and son. I rang O2 who told me they couldn't help, I would need to speak to the specific store. I called them and they said I needed to call UK Mail. I did this and the woman was adamant it has been successfully delivered and seemed to ignore me when advising I didn't have an effing porch and it most certainly hasn't been delivered. I then ring O2 again who told me to call UK Mail. Now does anyone have a clue what the hell to do? I have ran out of options and expletives!
Guest Mee-9 Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Have you checked with your neighbours? Just incase it's been delivered to the wrong number or something.
Guest Electric Yetis Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 My street is pretty small, my girlfriend and son were out on the front with the next door neighbours and children.
kingcarr21 Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 If O2 use UK Mail as their delivery service then its O2s responsibility to chase it up. Id go to the store and refuse to leave until they sort it.
Captain... Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 My street is pretty small, my girlfriend and son were out on the front with the next door neighbours and children. This is happening all too often, I get really pissed off with companies that don't take responsibility and expect you to chase up the delivery company. You have a contract with O2, not UK Mail, you shouldn't be chasing them O2 should. The only thing I can think of is to ask to see the delivery manifesto and check the address, there may have been an error and it ended up at the wrong place, or ask to speak to the driver.
Guest Electric Yetis Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 I think O2 need to sort out who they use to deliver. When I initially ordered the phone in September I received a message saying it had been delivered when it blatantly hadn't. After several days of phone calls it came to light that it had been stolen 'en route' and was being used in Newcastle.
Guest Electric Yetis Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 It has just been brought to our house from someone who lives on the next road. Addresses are nothing like the same and we have never met this person before. Good job they were honest.
