The 'it's the biggest moment in the history of the world and I'm at work' thread

It's the Kentucky Derby here in the States, and I have very expensive tickets to a fancy dress lawn party at an antebellum Southern mansion. There will be copious amounts of fair haired women in sundresses and men in seersucker suits. Booze will flow. There's a rather large pregame party that I've also committed to attend with the lady. 

I say this because I would have been able to watch the whole match at the pub IF they had not changed the fixture time to 12:30pm EST. I didn't realize the time had been changed from a 10am EST kickoff since I put all the match dates and times in my phone months ago. Just a little perturbed.
