Beliall Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 It Occurred to me that we are sitting at the top table now. Players come and go from top teams every year. We just sold a player that we had for one season, for 32 mil to Chelsea, and that's viewed as a step down for him by us. We have brought in players from Champions league mainstays CSKA, and are looking at another from Juventus. Talk of RM and BARCA wanting Mahrez, and it looks like he might stay anyway. We look set for another great year, I believe the players we have got so far are better than what we have lost. Ngolo was brilliant for us, but I doubt we will miss him that much. Great times for this club are ahead. COYB
One Ranieri Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 I would urge patience. You don't become a 'big club' or whatever you want to call being at the top table overnight. It takes consistency and that is arguably the next challenge for Leicester.
Beliall Posted 18 July 2016 Author Posted 18 July 2016 I didn't mean to imply we are a big club, Just that for nowat least, we are there, and the next few years we will see if we stay there
foxy boxing Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 the only way we will know if we are at the top table is if we are invited for secret talks on a breakaway european super league with the likes of barcelona and juventus
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 I like the intention of the post and one which I agree with. I've said it many times before if we can keep together all our staff, our management & current squad, we are capable of seeing major success and creating a real special era for this football club. If we contiune to be a side who are what you'd call 'Premier League quality,' I'd say the future is very good for City and progressively we will become bigger in every sense, season on season providing we stay in this division of course.
