I really wouldn't be surprised in the morning waking up to the fact that Claudio has either resigned or has been sacked and the owners have either got a successor or an interim til the end of the season? I for one would love us to go for Mancini to take over but whoever it is will have a hell of a job to sort these sorry ass bunch of players ? I was at the game tonight and said pretty much the same thing to my nephew. I think it could be the case for our lack of transfer activity as why would they give him another £20-30m to spend if they don't trust his signings or trust he will turn it round. If he does go then a few others need to leave with him. Difficulty is, lots of people are still loyal to claudio after what he's achieved but the way things are we will get relegated. Under Pearson when we were losing we always looked competitive and like we could get a win cos we were playing well. I honestly wouldn't back us against any of the 19 teams in the league home or away right now. Other difficulty is who do we replace him with? Who would want to join us? Do we get an interim till end of season or a permanent manager to take us forward? Do we stick with claudio and hope he can change it (which I doubt he can)? The owners have some tough decisions to make and fast!
