Foxy Posted 8 October 2005 Posted 8 October 2005 If your gonna suggest names, atleast bring up Martin O'Neill
Cal Posted 8 October 2005 Posted 8 October 2005 What CL is doing is building us a team for the future. Give him time and watch he'll be a city legend. trust me.
NFFC Chris Posted 8 October 2005 Posted 8 October 2005 From a neutral point of view,I think he will turn out like George Burley did at the sheep. It will be another season of just staying up for you this season but I think you will make a playoff push under Levein next season, you've brought a lot of new players and they have to get to know each other. If Levein goes,I think bascially your screwed

Lineker's Left Foot Posted 9 October 2005 Posted 9 October 2005 Firstly I feel like getting this thread and burying it into it's grave and putting up a gravestone stating 'RIP'. Levein IS the man to take this club forward, although obviously his results haven't proved as such... YET !! 1. He has attempted to get Leicester playing a better standard of football. 2. Recruiting younger players who have something to prove. 3. Taken fantastic players on including Hughes, Johansson and Smith - albeit on-loan. As I've said before, we're it's very unlikely we will get relegated and ROME WASN'T BUILT IN A DAY !! Oh and just another thing, although we're not as big as United and Arsenal, WE ARE A BIG CLUB WITH A GOOD FAN BASE!!
NFFC Chris Posted 9 October 2005 Posted 9 October 2005 Leicester fans, let the results do the talking and I think the next few months will determine if Levein is the right man for the job.Good luck Leicester City and good luck to Craig Levein.

Thracian Posted 9 October 2005 Posted 9 October 2005 This rumour from Football Rumours. The only thing I believe about this is that Taggs was in a pub. Source What evidence is there that Taggs and McAllister would make a good managerial team? We should set an example to football and stick with Levein for the long term whatever (even if it is painful at times) but touting stupid pairings like the above is just like playing Russian Roulette with the club. Why not Boosey and Hawkes? We'd perhaps get a sponsored marching band for half-time. Or leave McAllister out of it and have Tom and Jerry - at least we could laugh at ourselves at the same time as everyone else was laughing at us.
