What would constitute being classed as the worst title defence? if we finished lower than chelsea last season, or with less points? If we were to finish 9th, 1 place higher than Chelsea did, but finish with less points, would we still be considered as having the worst title defence? I'd imagine League position would historically be seen as the decider in this situation.

I'd imagine if that is the case in the end - us finishing 9th with less points, we would see it as a more successful title defence, whereas Cheslea fans would argue that they had the better points total, and therefore, the better title defence. I wonder what the Neutrals make of it all.
