Jonbluefox9 Posted 9 October 2005 Share Posted 9 October 2005 If this isn't the best forum to put this topic in then feel free to move it. I would like some suggestions from you of topics related to football that have a two sides to the story and that I can do research on. We've just started a Humanities project and although I have a few ideas already I'd be grateful if someone could put a few more forward so I've got a bit of choice. Try to make the suggestions connected to football in general rather than just Leicester City and social aspects of football rather than the playing side. Basically, something you could do a Humanities project about. Thanks if you can help.

Thracian Posted 9 October 2005 Share Posted 9 October 2005 Is fear of losing changing the face of English football? Managers and Players: How great is their responsibility to the wider world?. Positive or negative - the recent changes in football? Has football reached it's zenith in the UK? The Mega-rich: What will be the legacy of their involvement in football? China and football 30 years from now. Football - how vulnerable to legal action? That's a few ideas off the cuff. I reckon you could have a University of Football, there are so many academic questions posed by the game in one form or another. Mind you when I suggested there should be sports/sports science degrees when a pupil at Wyggeston in the 60's I was mocked. Yet look what happened?
