Can anyone explain what this means, regarding away points? From the 'Going to audit and review' part in the action point. Especially the last sentence. IMG_4316.thumb.PNG.a5f91763501b7ce5a897d9da8d64b495.PNG

Seems to me they are going to look closely and monitor the "away ticket scheme" and try to find out if people are abusing it by having the tickets but not attending and selling the tickets on to keep their place on the scheme

Also Seems like a new scheme will come in for 2018/19 and they will use the media (club website, social media) to state the clubs intentions on what the new scheme will be

There's is a lot of bollox on there tbh. How are the people that are the so called reps of all the fans in that posistion. CG has been tthe representative of the official LCFC for years. Are these people elected ? Nominated ? Picked by the club ?. I really have no idea. Anybody know ? If used right this sought of interaction with people who run our club could be useful for us all

Thanks.

When i read it, I took it to mean away tickets as a whole rather than the actual 'Away Scheme' for P1s signed up who can return a few tickets per year.

Either way it's very difficult to find out many that are sold on anyway, without a photo ID type system.

It does seem unfair for the genuine regular away fan to change the system. But I also understand it is difficult for some (young children just starting off for example) to get on the points ladder.

ID would be the best answer in my opinion, although would the club be bothered to police it?

There were some away games that went last season to members. Possibly even general sale?

I don't think there should be, but if there is an increased ballot type system introduced in the future for everyone for aways (I know about the 2% members now) maybe it should be just for lower profile games like Swansea at 4.00pm on a Sunday.

Surely those who have been to many away games over 3 or 4 years don't deserve to be in the lucky raffle with everyone for say a possible FA Cup Quarter final, or earlier local one like Derby last year.

I hope the club don't give in to those calling for a free for all.

Leave it as it is I would say, so that the genuine point earners are still rewarded, but bring in the passport system, so that in 3 or 4 years those that genuinely go are rewarded, and those cheating the system are much less likely to be able to do so. Although I'm sure any system will be cheated to a degree, from inside and outside the club.
