CockneyFox Posted 21 June 2017 Posted 21 June 2017 Doesn't the club restrict quite heavily who can attend these meetings and the points that get raised? I get the impression this is rather stage-managed to give the illusion that fans have a voice but in reality are kept at arms' length from the most important issues that people actually care about - stadium expansion, ticket prices, transparency of away ticket sales etc

The_77 Posted 21 June 2017 Posted 21 June 2017 "Jamie Tabor opened the meeting by welcoming all the attendees and conveying apologies." Apologies for what?

stripeyfox Posted 21 June 2017 Posted 21 June 2017 I did enjoy our PL title win but I do feel it is soiled by the small font size on the big screen...

The meeting would still be going on now.

My sister uses it (only pre-game and at HT) and it's quite fast. Then again it is the staff Wi-Fi so probably not that many accessing it at any one time.

People can apply for a term and the club want an equal spread of 'stands'. There's more than one person on here who attends the meetings and also few people who openly post on twitter about lcfc too

stripeyfox Posted 22 June 2017 Posted 22 June 2017 5. Cliff Ginnetta highlighted the need for a new drummer in L Block as Lee wasn’t well enough to do it Man alive! Is this really a question to be addressed to the club? Do we expect them to supply a reserve drummer? These forums are potentially useful but they should threaten to cancel season tickets for anyone asking pointless questions!

The golf course. The shops. The currently closed pub. The garage and petrol station. The fishing lake next to beedles. Would probably take most of the owners fortune to do a deal with jellys.

Susan Whelan, responsible for key decisions at the club and she has to listen to some drivel from Cliff about a drummer. Know your audience, know who you are presenting too. The Foxes Trust would have a much better chance of being heard if they were wise with regards to their audience. I can can tell you 100% that attending these meetings would be like pulling teeth for LCFC. It will be one of the jobs that they dread most. Focus on a couple of issues that make a difference and leave the unimportant stuff out of it. Then and only then this group will have a voice that is valued. Unfortunately it would appear the group have people in it that clearly don't understand this, they just don't get it and so it's all rather pointless. I would like a reality TV show on them. Their preparation and their execution, together with the thoughts of the LCFC staff before hand and their facial expressions during. It would be cringeworthy funny. Would love it.

Well they're a disparate group not a team they like as not never see each other from one meeting to the next, they are chosen to be a diverse group so their needs, moans and aspirations for their association with LCFC will all be different. I'm sure the LCFC representatives know this in fact it's them that have laid down that criteria. Granted Ginnetta as representative of the so called Official LCFC Supporters Club should be raising more fundamental issues but then he's always seemed a bit of a self serving ass often taking opposite views to what appears to be the vast majority of fans.
Drew Peacock Posted 22 June 2017 Posted 22 June 2017 Can anyone explain what this means, regarding away points? From the 'Going to audit and review' part in the action point. Especially the last sentence.

Noticed members can now get away tickets which stops people who barely get them now getting one?

I'd seen that members get 2% now, but just can't make any sense of the part of the minutes I posted.

Don't want to be against him personally, but know myself and heard from others within the club as well in that he's like this - thinking he knows the best way forward for the club off the pitch without listening and taking in what others have said (like you mentioned). Just seems too ignorant towards others for his 'role' at the club to be both trusted and valued.
