I'm ashamed to say that the first game he took me to was Forest v Everton in 1981. Forest won 1-0 and Kenny Burns scored a screamer.

 

He eventually saw sense and took me to my first Leicester game in 1982. It was a 2-2- draw, Linker & English for us, Keegan with both of there's.

My Mum's claim to fame is that Joe Royle asked her out in a nightclub in Liverpool in 1970. She turned him down and went out with my Dad instead

We were in J block in the main stand but I was fascinated and pre-occupied with all the singing coming from the Kop. As soon as I was old enough to go on my own it was Pen 3 every game
