Guest Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 Not sure what the rules are regarding this sort of self-promotion, but hopefully some of you might find it interesting. I made a short podcast for a university assignment about head injuries in football, which I think is a topic we'll be hearing more and more about over the coming years as more research is done and more cases are found. If you've got five minutes to spare, you can listen to it here: http://mhm.hud.ac.uk/MusicRadioHud/node/1129 Even if you'd rather not give it a listen - any thoughts on the subject? For example, do you think clubs take things like concussions seriously enough? If we were to follow the US in looking to prevent youngsters from heading the ball so often, would you support it? This sort of thing has had a little more media coverage than usual recently, with Alan Shearer's documentary and the announcement recently that the FA and PFA are organising a study into the links between heading a football and brain damage early next year. Any feedback/comments you can give will be massively appreciated.
Wymsey Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 I made a topic on a similar/the same level not too long ago.
