Maybe so but obviously we don’t know what was set out when he was appointed, but like I said number 1 objective for all current mid-table teams like us will be safety and I’m sure the owners are like us not happy with current form but I’m also pretty sure they haven’t gone into this blind, they would know everything about him and his ‘style’ of football

By his own admission, he was brought in to do much more than that. He sold himself to the owners on the new style of play ticket and to move the club forward, he's failed miserably on both counts and hasn't a clue what to do about it.

Yes, good point. It wouldn't be so bad if we saw any signs of encouragement that we are heading that way but clearly, we are not. whether that's because of bad management or players reticence it makes no difference. Our current form is relegation and it's very hard to see how he is going to do what he said he was going to do with displays like that one on Saturday. If the match against Palace was a one-off we could shrug and say oh well it's work in progress but we all know it wasn't.
