What’s the parking like? I went years ago before I could drive and the car park looked tiny. Just wondering if they’ve expanded it or if I’ll be fighting a losing battle for spaces every time I go?

They've got a decent offer on at the min, £40 for 3 months if anyone’s interested.

I was a member for a few months last year. Parking is entirely pot luck and timing. Peak times (evenings) no chance. Used to be worse when locals parked there, but they started ticketing non-members (I don't know how they did it, but I never got a ticket). If you use it during the day or late at night parking is fine. Peak times don't be surprised if you get blocked in or get a nice door mark on the side of your car. Having said all that, I've not been for a year, so may have improved.

There's nowhere nearby to park either is there? I remember needing parking permits a few years ago just to park on the street down there when my gf lived nearby.

Yeah it's all permit only due to the proximity of the stadium. But there's a pay and display at the traffic lights where that statue of liberty thing is, which I think is the closest, or the hospital, but nothing free. And paid street parking parallel to the park across the road.

That bad?

Just always rammed, unless you live in town it's annoying to get to as well. Join a local one, pay £20/£25 a month and it's much less hassle.

Pure gyms are good if you work away, as you can use any of them, but travelling all the way into town just to go to a busy Pure gym isn't worth it.
