Released from Leeds apparantly!

Just goes to show they arn't as good as many people try and make out.

Guppy was a very good player but he is now too old and too injury prone. Micky read it right by the sounds of it.

I thought Guppy was doing Ok at Leeds - There was no point in releasing Guppy and then taking on Wilcox.

Apparently, Hignett is being linked with Darlington. Oh dear. :w00t:

Guppy was a KING in his day. Shamefully he lost it when he went with Martin O'Neil to Celtic. Well as for Hignett, only remember him for scoring against Arsenal

Thats about his standard, i didnt think Guppy was too bad last season and he's definatly better than Wilcock.

And just to think that we signed Hignett to keep us up in the Premiership last season.....

guppy was a legend back in the day for us, scored some great goals and was a brilliant crosser but last season he didnt look all there and i think the age has caught up on him sadly :(

hignett was once a good player last season he did ok in some games but its the same thing as with guppy, the age has caught up on him too.
