Reducing video clip size

Been sent some quite amusing video clips but they are usually too big to upload ...   is there any way of reducing the size, perhaps by the quality, so that I can post them.  The one I’ve just tried to reduce by sending backwards and forward as message and email is 18.7 mb.

You can probably upload it to a file sharing website or better yet video sharing site like Vimeo and then post the link or imbed it.

 

There's also a piece of video recoding software I've occasionally used called  'Xmedia Recode' in which you can drag the file over to and change it's file type, duration and so size to your liking
