Jimmy Posted 24 October 2005 Author Share Posted 24 October 2005 apparently theres a training course Being a steward myself i know how tough the job can be but in my experience of the walkers stadium, your stewards need a kick up the arse! there is new training being put into place which requires stewards to pass strict standards and exams which will no doubt stop some of the brainless twats that do the job. I can only hope that they will improve at your club.
SystonFox Posted 25 October 2005 Share Posted 25 October 2005 i work with a woman called Julie and her husband is one of the head stewards at the WS. she told me that one steward either fell down or was pushed down the stairs on sundays game. she also said a few stewards took punches which happens often, including her husband. ive told her to tell him to advise them to stop being heavy handed and jumping at the chance to chuck people out, wether she has or not who knows but come the xmas do i might just have to bring the subject up with him.
