Sparky Posted 27 October 2005 Posted 27 October 2005 there used to be a saying that in the 80s if ian rush scored for liverpool then liverpool never lost . well has everybody noticed every goal that de vries has scored in his city career has resulted in a win for us millwall (last season) 1 goal WON3-1 stoke 1 goal WON 4-2 sheff wednesday 2 goals WON 2-0 blackpool 2 goals WON 2-1 watford 1 goal WON 2-1 coventry 2 goals WON 2-1 so maybe de vries is the new ian rush !

I remember that goal against Millwall, it was when he was at his very worse, and when he scored there was such an ironic cheer from the crowd! he megged the keeper with a header if I remember rightly
