He virtually had no help defensively against Spurs and then was an absolute joke at Luton I’ve been a bit disappointed with him since his initial spell in 16/17 but under Rodgers he’s been immense. He’s incredibly mature for a 22 year old the pitch because he reads the game expertly defensively. It’s rare you see him pressure players when he shouldn’t or fly into reckless challenges. It’d overly optimistic to hope that he gets much better on the ball but it’d be great if Rodgers could help develop that side of his game.
