I agree with SIRFOOT, when have we ever looked like beating someone 3-0, or 2-0. We always concede a goal, and nearly always scrape out wins by 1 goal. I've had enough, I try to be optimistic, but I'm afraid, like Thracian, I've had enough of this shite football.

Spot on SIRFOOT!

Its poor so far, but by the majority of posts on here tonight it appears CL might as well pack his bags as well as Nigel Worthington, Glenn Hoddle, Phil Brown etc etc......

Talk about fickle, pre-emptive and naive!

worthington should definetely go, so to Phil brown, not Hoddle though. Craig Levein? who knows, i dont think anyone is truely convinced he can turn it round.

Yes, because Levein has taken us so far in his reign as Leicester manager!

In my opinion he was the wrong appointment. Dave Jones, Steve Tilson, Boothroyd, all would have been much better.

i dont think anyone knew who he was.

LCFC_826, are you seriously telling me you wanted Adrian Boothroyd or Steve Tilson appointed this time last year? Southend have hit form over the last 8 months, and Bothroyd has done better than expected. I doubt either of them would have entered your thoughts 12 months back however...and if they did then you should replace Mystic Meg!

I'm just saying they would have been much better, you cannot argue with results.

I see you haven't said anythng about Dave Jones.

REBUILDING.

Each manager would have had to completely rebuild. You cannot say any of those could have done better. The only problem i have with Levein is defensively football. Other than that he's done a great job, at rebuilding the squad. That's why he was brought here, taking us forward is the next step.

Let's not start another 'Levein out' rant just yet. As far as i'm aware there's the small matter of a 2nd half to come yet.

By the sounds of things we need to go like for like with them, so i'd throw Sylla on down the right, probably for Tiatto, drop Smith back to wide left, and go with Hume and De Vries down the middle.

What does anyone else think?
