Durnerz Posted 23 September 2004 Posted 23 September 2004 DURNING LINKED WITH FOSSE CITY Young Striker Chris Durning is rumoured to be making a January move to struggling Division 5 side Fosse City. The striker avaliable on a Free after 1 year with Kegworth Imps in 02/03 is linked with a move to the Leicester side. In a statement Durning's spokesman said "Chris is looking forward to the challenge, as lazy as he may be now, he is vowing to prove his fitness before January." Mr Durning is yet to comment on fitness issues.

"If the link is true.. then me and Wayne will do everything to keep him out the side! At this rate its looking good as both of us scored on Sunday! It does add considerable competition to the side which is only healthy!"
Ash Posted 26 September 2004 Posted 26 September 2004 Fosse City approach Allen Fosse City are set to join the race for defender Ashley Allen , who is currently playing his football at Oadby Owls , Fosse City are desperate for a quality defender as there team has conseded 20 plus goals in the first four games.Fosse City may find it hard to attract 17 year old Allen away from Oadby as he only just signed for them in pre-season. There has yet been any ancouncement from any of the club or the player as of yet .
Buzzell Posted 26 September 2004 Posted 26 September 2004 'Buzz' rejects Fosse Daniel Burrell AKA 'Buzz' has made his choice in his football career by joining May Flower FC for the rest of the season. He played part in last weeks game against The Charlottes FC were May Flower won by an easy 5-1 victory. 'Buzz' looked very comfatable in the left back position he played during the 1st half, but as we all no he played center back for his former club West End. He then played right back in the 2nd half and looked very strong in the air. Fosse City looked interested a couple of weeks ago when 'Buzz' played a friendly match between friends but he wasnt satisfied with the contracy offered so he decided to join may Flower FC. 'Buzz' made this statement afetr his choice of club.... "After a couple of years off football I wanted to get back into the game asap. I got 2 offers by 2 clubs who both looked very decent teams but one stood out then the other. Now that I have signed with this club (May Flower FC) I am looking forward to the new season"
