Manwell Pablo Posted 8 November 2005 Posted 8 November 2005 It has been confirmed Craig Levein has been reading my posts!! Source Leicester manager Craig Levein intends spending the fortnight's break from Championship action improving the side's attacking play.Levein has warned his players to expect plenty of hard work in training during the international break. While the Foxes have managed to keep clean sheets in their last three outings, a return of only one goal over the same period is a cause for concern. Levein said: "The international break has come at a good time for us and our work over the next couple of weeks will need to be on the attacking side of things. "The defensive side of things gives us something to build on and I feel more comfortable in the knowledge we look as if we're going to be extremely difficult to beat. That's the first stage to get to with any team." Personally I think we need some more players, but if hes going to work hard on the attacking game and actually play the right players we might start to score some goals!

Our play up until now has not encouraged players like hume n hammond to score goals goals goals. If CL is serious about playing to their ability, then watch them two score from now on (thats if they get the chance with de lump the probable starter).

lush Posted 8 November 2005 Posted 8 November 2005 Hammond has no abilty ...but then youve never been a good pundit

Hitesh Posted 8 November 2005 Posted 8 November 2005 good! he has the defence sorted, and hopefully they can keep that up! Now lets see what he can do with the attack. Perosnally, he needs to sort out 1 striking partnership - De Vries and Hume (dont agree with MDV but he isnt gonna drop him so you might as well play Hume and MDV!). they need to play more games so they read each others game and learn how to play together. No each others strength and weaknesses and learn how to finish! He then needs to sort out the service. the midfield need to know how the attackers play and how they can give them the best service. its not good lofting balls in the air to hume! So they need to learn how to use the ball more effectivly....let the ball do the hard work!
Head Honcho Posted 8 November 2005 Posted 8 November 2005 What he's doing is not too dissimilar to what MON did when he first came to Leicester. Sort the defence out keeping us tight at the back and working from there. Unfortunately i don't know where the goals are going to come from though

But i think it will take time for the goals to come, but eventually we will have sorted out a lot of weaknesses and hopefully go for a late charge into a play-off spot!
