I'm talking about the importance of the tournament .. back when it was THE premier domestic cup competition every team that competed played their strongest possible side, they didn't rest players/the entire first team 11 for league games!

I understand lots of the younger generation on here weren't around to witness the era I'm talking about, but the FA Cup today is a mere shadow of what it once was.

Love us to win it, but wouldn't be heartbroken if we don't... unlike 1969 when it was massive !!

 

I understand the point you are trying to make, I was born in the 60's. I just don't agree with it.

Let's just win both, then you'll be happy and i'll be ecstatic
