Ticket exchange

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how the ticket exchange scheme works? I noted that this would be available to season ticket holders for the new season. With the new season fixtures published, there is already one match I can’t attend.

19. If I cannot attend a game, can I sell my ticket back to the club?

  • Further information on the new ticket exchange platform will be published on LCFC.com in due course. Terms and conditions apply, which will also be published on LCFC.com/terms.

I used it in the olden days (pre-lockdown). Email the ticket office and they'll offer your seat for sale once the match has sold out. You get back a nineteenth of your season ticket for each match they sell despite catagory.

Its the only legal way to do it. Worked a couple of times for me as I struggle to get to midweek night games.

i did the same on a couple of occasions, they said to me they are trialing it and hoping to make it live soon. i used to emailed them once games sold out and they had my bank details on file and if my seat sold then I would get the refund for that match in my bank account. it seemed a straight forward process as far as I am concerned, not sure why they are not making this available widely.

I'm not sure either. Other clubs have similar schemes so it's not a groundbreaking inititiative. I suppose it's not a club priority as it doesn't make money, only an admin over head. From a fan point of view its better to have the seat occupied rather than left empty especially when many can't attend and are desperate for stadium expansion.
