This is an issue. We have lots of good options but they are mostly central. I’ve highlighted all players below who play centrally.

Midfielders: Ndidi Soumare Tielemans Dewsbury-Hall Praet Maddison Albrighton Choudhury Mendy

Forwards: Vardy Daka Iheanacho Barnes Perez

As you can see, all our midfielders apart from Albrighton are central, we have too many central midfielders. Due to this last season it means we end up playing the likes of Maddison and Praet out wide or even full backs providing our only width to make up for our lack of wide players.

Another massive problem is the forwards, all are central apart from Barnes who is able to play a role on the left. Daka and Vardy can’t play wide as they are both lone strikers and also won’t work in a partnership, Iheanacho can’t play wide and is best in a withdrawn role. I’m not sure where Perez is best, but I’m sure it’s the same performance wherever he is.

Agreed but we're obviously in the market for a winger and we have Sowah (& Mawanhise?) too.

Not that I think it's along term solution but we played 4231 at Villa last season with Pereira on the wing and he played quite well in that game.
