Hi all,

Does anyone know what the situation is for PL ticket refunds for Covid? We shouldn’t go to matches if have symptoms of Covid or test positive (rightly so) yet cannot find much info about whether PL teams are refunding for missed games due to Covid.

A mate of mine has a few symptoms but won’t get tested till today. If he is positive then cocks up trip to Brighton tomorrow!!

TIA

As far as I’m aware, you’ll get a refund up until kick off as long as you contact the club to confirm. They’d rather give you the money back. I asked the club about this prior to buying Wembley tickets and they were really helpful.

Cheers just can’t find any info at all about refunds amongst the Covid statements on many of the PL websites. They’re all pretty cagey about it.

Funnily enough though Wembley/FA make it perfectly clear they will give refunds. Let’s see what our lot say!!

I believe it’s the same from what I’ve seen. Nobody wants you in the stands if you or your mate are a leper 😂

This is on the Lcfc website but states home tickets so I don’t know if the same applies for away tickets

11.2. For the avoidance of doubt, all Home Match Ticket holders are required in connection with their attendance at the Stadium to comply with all applicable laws/regulations, Government guidance and the Club’s directions (including any applicable COVID-19 Supporter Code of Conduct from time to time, as described in Condition 11.3 below). This includes the strict requirement that Home Match Ticket holders must not attend the Stadium if they are restricted from doing so as a result of any COVID-19-related laws and/or regulations from time to time, whether due to self-isolation requirements, local travel restrictions, or otherwise. No refunds shall be due in such circumstances, unless the Club determines otherwise in its absolute discretion.

In the unlikely event the club aren’t helpful (which I’m sure they will be), couldn’t you use the resale platform?

Unfortunately it’s for Brighton tomorrow so not much time to sort anything. But one of my mates has taken it so alls good thanks.
