My problem isn't so much with the person rather than the process and culture at the club. 

If one single person is making all the decisions with little positive tension between different parts of the club ( recruitment, manager, finance, commercial ) then it leaves itself open to corruption and loudest person in the room syndrome. 

 

Recruitment is hard, if you rely on agents to do it it's going to be even harder.
