rotherhamfox Posted 19 September 2004 Posted 19 September 2004 The war on Iraq, what are everyones personal feelings on it, i feel it was a very unecessary conflict, motivated by such factors as Oil and Blair wanting to pal up to the the slack jawed yocal that is Bush. Alot of men have lost their lives for a very unjust cause, should be stopped, what do you feel about it?
Cobbo Posted 19 September 2004 Posted 19 September 2004 I won't go into detail seeing as I'm battered. I agree with what you put. If you see the new Michael Moore documentary, it throws a few more theories of why the war occured. Well worth seeing.

Well worth seeing. 20150[/snapback] Ive seen it, some of the fings he highlights are unbelievable such as the Bin Ladens are business partners with Bush, i mean i knew there was hypocracy and pretty crazy fings goin on behind the scenes but not to that extent. Some of that film is very disturbing such as the burnt U.S soldiers being dragged through the streets and being hung from a bridge. I really like seeing Bush being made out to the idiot we all know he is but Moore does it with a very smug satisfaction im not keen on, but anyways the film was very intresting and shocking at times.
Cat Burger Posted 19 September 2004 Posted 19 September 2004 I don't like Bush much, but I don't like Moore either, I think that smug satisfaction comment is very much justified. People have died in this war, it's not a funny topic.

Guest Posted 20 September 2004 Posted 20 September 2004 Whatever happened in Iraq before this conflict, what gives the USA the right to meddle in the politics of another country? They moan about international terrorism, yet are quite happy for their own citizens to walk around with guns. The gang warfare in some cities of the States is no different to the actions of paramilitary 'forces' elsewhere in the world. Sort your own problems out before telling others what to do.
Buzzell Posted 20 September 2004 Posted 20 September 2004 Iraq is a Country that doesnt deserve to be on Earth. We should have bombed Iraq off the map! Look what there doing now, there killing British and American soldiers and kidnapping British/American civilians that are over in Iraq (Dont no why but I know that I wouldnt stand in Iraq for a sencond!!) and beheading them (Chopping thier heads off) on live telly!! Kill 'em all!!
